I’m a (very real, not AI) primary school teacher with over 15 years’ experience, teaching from Reception through to Year 6 in Australia and the United Kingdom. I started Real Classroom AI because I was spending hours planning and adapting work. AI helped me do this faster, but only once I understood how to use it properly in a real classroom.
Here and on my YouTube channel, I share simple, practical ways to use AI in real classrooms to save time, support planning, and help all children access learning.
Since using AI in my own teaching, I’ve found it to be a powerful tool for planning lessons faster, adapting work for different abilities, supporting EAL and SEND learners, and creating engaging activities more efficiently. My aim is to help teachers – whether you’re newly qualified or experienced – feel more confident using AI in a way that actually works in the classroom. I don’t believe AI replaces teaching. I use it as a starting point to make my job easier, reduce workload, and focus more on what matters most – delivering great lessons and supporting every child.
